I pick up from the Marjorie Harris Carr Greenway Eureka West Boat ramp off Hwy. 316 just 3.5 miles East of Fort Mc Coy.  I am usually available for tours on Friday, Saturday and Sundays. Trip departure times vary depending on your desires or availability. I am not there unless I have reservations for a trip!!

For my Silver River trips: East Hwy. 40 from Silver Springs/Ocala to the Ray Wayside Park located just before the Ocklawaha River bridge on the right. Cost $5 to park. No alcohol allowed on Silver River.

Slowly I have been learning to identify some of our area's wonderful birds. Most of the big-uns are easy now! But those little ones that go peter peter or is it tweeter tweeter.......They won't hold still long enough for me to find, focus, picture and look up in the field guide! Ahhh! So they say you need to learn to bird by ear. After all what is left in life to do? Local to Marion Co. Florida? Join www.marioncountyaudubon.com

Back To My Boating Roots

For a couple of years now I have gone back to the paddle! My first vessel was a canoe at age 17. Now I have a 9' Kayak. Its like floating around in a big yellow banna peel. I love fishing and taking pictures from this kayak. You definitely have a different perspective. You are so close to the water you feel you have become a part of it. You certainly have to keep a watch out! I can be so quiet and distracted that what ever I startle is only an arm length away. I am not fast enough to get that action picture! So I hope to have lots of exciting memories of these adrenaline producing moments. So far they have all been very enjoyable.

Don't just listen to what people tell you about the amazing Ocklawaha River. Find out for yourself!
Hey I can't wait to show you my river!
Let me know what you think of my pictures and if you want more info on longer trips and my location e-mail me!
